Welcome to the hive! This collection was inspired by and is dedicated to all strong, resourceful and nurturing indigenous women. Joanne’s own admiration for her mother, grandmother and matriarchal linage is the inspiration behind this timeless fabric collection that intends to honor them all.

Like so many of her clients, Joanne comes from a long, unbroken, resilient line of indigenous Queen Bees who continue to remind and ground her in who she is both personally and culturally. This fabric line is the perfect conversation starter and represents something deeper then just a pretty piece of fabric.

This line is perfect for ribbon skirts and day dresses. The repeat is 9x9 inches. I comes in 15 different color ways and 8 different types of fabric. Perfect options for matching that regalia, home decor or a specific color requirement to fit your project needs.

SIGNATURE COTTON [42" wide]
• 100% woven, plain weave cotton with a sturdy, quilting-weight look and feel.
• 4.3 oz per square yard (145 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 1-3% in length and 2-4% in width
• Best for quilting, craft projects, toys and accessories

SATIN [54" wide]
• 100% woven satin weave polyester, vibrant color, crisp detail and strong color fastness. Ultra shiny look, thin hand that softens the more it’s washed.

• 2.2 oz/square yd (75 gsm)

• Estimated shrinkage: 1% length x 2% width
• Best for creating regalia, apparel and costumes, lining jackets and bags, adding trim to blankets, or creating soft, silky accessories such as bow ties or clutches.

MODERN JERSEY [56" wide]
• 95% polyester, 5% spandex jersey knit fabric
• 4-way stretch: ≥25% horizontal; < 25% vertical
• 6.2 oz per square yard (210 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 0-3% in length and 1-2% in width
• Use for t-shirts, tank tops, dresses, maxi skirts, headbands, scarves, and baby clothes.

COTTON SPANDEX JERSEY [60" wide]
• 93% natural cotton, 7% spandex jersey knit fabric
• 4-way stretch: ≥ 50% horizontal; ≥ 50% vertical
• 5.5 oz per square yard (185 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 7-10% in length and 1-3% in width
• Appropriate for adult and baby apparel including loungewear, leggings, and t-shirts.

MINKY [54" wide]
• 100% polyester minky fabric with a soft, plush, napped finish
• 6.6 oz per square yard (225 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 1-2% in length and 0-1% in width
• Appropriate for quilting, blankets, lounge wear, plushies, and cold weather accessories.

FLEECE [56" wide]
• 100% polyester low-loft fleece fabric with a slight stretch and soft touch
• 6.6 oz per square yard (225 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 0-1% in length and 0-1% width
• Appropriate for cozy loungewear, pillows, and blankets (including no-sew tie blankets).

LINEN COTTON CANVAS [54" wide]
• 55% linen, 45% natural cotton fabric with a versatile medium weight and textured feel
• 6.4 oz per square yard (215 gsm)
• Estimated shrinkage: 3-6% in length and 0-1% in width
• Great for curtains, tablecloths, tea towels, dresses, bags, and pillows.

VELVET [54" wide]
• heavyweight, 100% polyester, knit, warp pile fabric with a short pile and elegant shimmer

• rich and long-lasting color,
