This painting is dedicated out of tremendous respect and a desire to show the world that we indigenous people's still have powerful matriarchs and grandmothers, who pray and seem to have the ability to intercede for us while they tap into the creators great holy power. I for one am extremely grateful for my grandmothers prayers and blessings. I’m a better person because of them and her. I know she has saved me a few times from certain peril.

These supreme women are held in very high esteem within many indigenous families that still practice the traditions of matriarchy. I’m proud, grateful and very blessed to come from such a strong line of Shoshone women and matriarchs, their wisdom, empathy, traditions, resilience, resistance, healing, love and prayers made me who I am today.

The legacy these women represent and leave behind is priceless.
